Hi
I have already posted this in the introduction forum, I hope I can post it here.
There are so many scammers using freemarraige.com to contact potential victims. Almost all that I have received have been from Senegal (the orphan in the refugee camp who needs help to retrieve their inheritance, which does not exist) But I have also seen profiles of other types of scammer. There are also Russian dating scammers using this site who will chat for quite a while before asking for money for many different things, usually but not always passports visas and plane tickets.
I have seen many of these types over the past few years, so I know exactly what to look for.
It is great that the mails from freemarraige have the users IP and original email address in the contact mails, but not everyone know how to track IPs or the potential financial danger they are putting themselves into if they are fooled by the story.
Some of these scammers are quite good at telling emotional stories.
So my proposition here is to include a link to a fantastic forum which works hard at combating the scammers and warning people of the dangers of becoming a victim. the site is quite helpfully called scamwarners! and it's at
Welcome to ScamWarners
I would suggest including it in both the introduction mail upon registration and within every mail sent between members.
This seems to be a motto of these scammers:
(Remeber the distance or colour does not matter but love matters alot in life)
I have lost count of the amount of times I have seen that in mails from scammers,So delete the mail as soon as you see that!
I hope this has been useful and that we can warn people before they fall victim to these wretched people.
If anyone has any questions or believes they are in contact with a scammer feel free to contact me. I will do what I can to answer and advise.
(I am not an expert in these matters, but I know a lot of people who are!)
Thank you for reading.
