Pooja has reacted to media reports that claimed that she was sacked by Bala from his forthcoming film, which has tentatively been titled ‘Paradesi’. “I explained my position to Bala and he relieved me from the project,” she said.
Giving more details, the ‘Jay Jay’ and ‘Attagasam’ actress said, “Bala roped me in for the film in February and I had just 20 days of shooting. But not even one day of shoot could be conducted due to the strike in the industry.”
She added: “As per an earlier commitment, I have to go to Australia in June to shoot for another film. So I could not allot fresh dates as requested by Bala. The director understood my situation.”
Dismissing rumors that she had entered into wedlock with an entrepreneur, Pooja wondered as to what could be the reason behind such a gossip. “I will make an official announcement when I am getting married,” she signs off.

Hero Honda introduced its latest bike Super Splendor which is a makeover of the earlier version. The single largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world has come out with the new model. Super Splendor has its own credit being the latest entrant in the 125cc segment and is expected to continue success story of the original Splendor. It is a bike that tries to fulfill the concrete needs of the masses. It is an ideal bike for the city commuters who wish to upgrade from 100cc bike. It's easy to handle, hassle free and offers comfortable ride with good mileage. A good suspension system which gives an easy- comfy ride both to the rider and pillion is certainly a cheering persona of the bike. With no funky style and flying performance, Super Splendor is not a race-oriented bike but it is the one that gets us to our destinations safely and economically.



Engine
The revised engine of the Super Splendor comes with the option of self-start and kick lever. The punchy exhaust tune throughout the rev band is similar to the original Splendor. The most visible change to the air-cooled, single-cylinder motor is the induction of an alloy long-stroke cylinder lump. Its 124.7cc makes a feeble 9bhp at 7000rpm. The engine uses a pair of valves driven by a single overhead camshaft and has adopted regular roller bearings for its rocker arms. The all-aluminum cased engine uses an array of plumbing and electronics to help obtain good mileage and works on conventional slide-type carburetor. It is one of the few 125cc bikes in the country not to upgrade to a Constant Velocity (CV) unit. Gear shifting through the four-speed unit is on a heel-and-toe-operated lever in an all-up pattern. The shifts are smooth and trouble-free.



Design And Comfort
Super Splendor 125cc comes with many welcome features. The dashboard dons a fresh look along with the trip-meter and fuel-gauge as standard while a tachometer is not an option. Levers and grips are classy articles and completely revised switchgear is excellent. High and low beam is easily available at the push of a button instead of a switch. A pass-light flasher has been incorporated and all the switches work with a precise and comfortable feel. The skinny tank and seat look identical to the Splendor units. While the Super Splendor's side panels are designed differently, the tail fairing is not dissimilar to the original Splendor. A black silencer with a massive chrome heat shield is part of the package. Build and paint quality as well as fit-and-finish rank at the high level.

Ride And Handling
This bike inherits the time-tested riding position from the older bike and feels very comfortable. The seat is narrow and a bit stiff if not ridden properly. Both the front telescopic forks as well as the dual rear shock absorbers operate very well. The handlebars steer neutral in any situation and the bike handles firmly with its flex-free, dual down-tube frame. At the same time, it imparts a pleasant light feel while tackling crowded city traffic. Tall gear ratios, roller bearings for rocker arms and slim tyres are the safety layouts of the Hero Honda and it comes with the best possible mileage. The bike delivers excellent figures. It gives around 55.9kpl in rough city traffic conditions while on the expressway, it spots on 58kpl.

On Monday night, we watched as Emily Maynard began her journey on ABC's Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise… for the second time. And after she and Brad Womack split following a whirlwind televised romance on Season 15 of The Bachelor, Maynard insisted on Monday's premiere that the second time is the charm. At least, she's hoping she won't have to try for the third time — and Trista Sutter, the star of the first season of The Bachelorette, knows a little something about making reality relationships last (she and husband Ryan Sutter just celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary), and thinks that Maynard may in fact meet Mr. Right this time around. So, who are Sutter's favorite contenders? The happily married mother of two tells Hollywood.com why three men in particular might just nab Maynard's heart.


No surprise one of Mrs. Ryan Sutter's favorite contestants this season is Ryan, the hunky 31-year-old former football player that wrote a corny note for Maynard. “I really like Ryan, go figure,” Trista says. “I felt like so many of these introductions were incredibly cheesy and completely unnecessary. The grandma thing was way over-the-top ridiculous. [But] I liked Ryan. I loved the note. I just felt like it was a cute way to say, ‘I’m excited to be here.'”


And it seems Maynard isn't the only Bachelorette with a soft spot for race car drivers. Sutter too feels Arie, the handsome 30-year-old race car driver from the Netherlands, has potential, despite the fact that he shares a day job with Maynard's deceased former fiancé. “I thought that it seemed like they had good chemistry,” she says. “For a first impression that's important. I think that obviously the race car thing was a big concern for him. I was kind of curious as to how she would react to that as well. I think that she can put that behind her, and she was a realist in saying, ‘It’s really the only sport that I know about.' It’s something that she could connect with him on.”


The final contestant Sutter has her eyes on? Thirty-year-old Brazilian, Alessandro. “I think a guy who can speak another language is sexy," Sutter says. "She probably won't pick Alessandro, but I liked him."


Still, Maynard has her 6-year-old daughter to think about — she needs to pick someone who is right for both of them. According to Sutter, "I would think she would want someone who is going to love her and her family unconditionally above all else."


And like the rest of the American viewing public, Sutter is hesitant to believe that someone is Kalon, the helicopter-riding contestant who seems poised to be this season's villain. “I mean, when you come in with that kind of ego, I don't know how you can't be portrayed as a [villain],” Sutter says. “A villain in our society is someone who is conceited. When you have to use a helicopter and when you're showing yourself buying shoes and talking about how much money you have, I don't think that’s the classiest way to go. Not a real fan of Kalon.”


Sutter is also shocked that Maynard gave the first impression rose to Doug. “Ryan and I were watching together and we both felt the same way, that he was kind of playing the parent card a little too hard,” she says. "I was a little shocked that he got the first rose. “


But whoever Maynard ends up with, Sutter is cheering her on. “I’m just so hopeful that she will finally find her prince charming," she says.

Hero Honda has added a new paragon to its best selling 100 C.C Splendor range. Splendor NXG comes with alloy wheels. Hero Honda has named the bike NXG implying it to be for the next generation. This alloy wheel version bears several resemblances to the old version of Splendor. Engine
Hero Honda NXG has a new 97.2-cc engine. The power of Splendor NXG is 7.7 PS at 7500 rpm, which is an improvement over Splendor Plus. Maximum torque is about 7.6 Nm. The Splendor NXG has a smooth gearshift pattern.



Design And Comfort
Apart from its new Silver-colored alloy wheels, the Hero Honda Splendor NXG sports a new headlamp, tank, side body panels, tail lamp, turn indicators and of course new stickers. Switches are similar to those of the 125 cc Super Splendor. The design of the new speedometer could have been bettered with conventional twin pod meters. The trendy side decals, rear and front cowl, new sleek instrument panel with a trip meter and the fuel tank that has a knee grip mold and new improved visor, lend the bike more stylish looks.

Ride And Handling
The ride quality of the Hero Honda Splendor NXG is up to the mark. The riding position is quite comfortable. The seats are well padded and comfortable. The NXG sports conventional telescopic front suspension and a pair of hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. However, the bike does not have box-section swingarm at the rear. The NXG is great for city ride attributed by its light and nimble handling quality. Ride quality strikes a fine balance in all the road conditions. But this bike lacks high speed handling capability. The bike gives fuel efficiency of 55.5 kmpl in the city traffic and around 60 kmpl on expressways.

മടിയില്* തല ചായ്ച്ചു
അടുത്തിരുന്നു കുശലം ചോദിക്കും
എന്നെ മറന്നോ?
എന്നോടിഷ്ടോണ്ടോ…?
ന്തേ ഒന്നും മിണ്ടാത്തെ…?
എത്ര നാളെന്നു വെച്ചാ….?
പെയ്തൊഴിയാത്ത പരിഭവങ്ങള്*

നീയല്ലാതെയാരെ….?
ഞാനെന്നെ എന്നെ മറന്നൂ…
നിന്നെ മാത്രമോര്*ത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോള്*…
എന്തേലുമൊന്നു പറയും മുമ്പേ
ഒരു കാറ്റിലെന്ന പോലകന്നു പോയ്*

ആരോ കൊരുത്തിട്ടൊരു
നൂലിലെന്ന പോലെ
ദിശയറിയാതെ വരുന്നൊരു
കാറ്റിന്റെ ഗതിക്കു ചെവിയോര്ത്തു
പരിഭവങ്ങളുടെ നഖക്ഷതങ്ങളെലേല്*പ്പിച്ചു
ഒരു മാലാഖയിപ്പോഴും നീ എന്* അരികിലുണ്ട്.
