Director : A.Venkatesh
Producer : K.C.N Chandrasekhar, S.Dorairaj
Music : Srikanth Deva
Cast : Silambarasan, Divya, Kalabhavan Mani
Silambarasan is back after Hari’s Kovil which failed to create a bang at the box-office. Now in Deivani Movie Makers' Kuthu, the young hero is back doing another love story in the remake of the Telugu film Dil. Screenplay and direction is by A.Venkatesh who has directed Simbu’s Dum.
Kuthu promises to be a mass entertainer with all ‘masalas’. Simbu plays an aggressive youth who falls in love with new girl Divya. The girl’s father is a dreaded mafia leader and he objects to their love. He threatens Simbu’s parents and makes life miserable for them. Simbu retaliates and challenges that he would marry Divya. The rest of the film is all about how he fights against all odds, becomes a one-man-army, and fights to finally accomplish his mission.
The cast also has Kalabhavan Mani, Karunas, Vinu Chakravarthy, Kota Srinivas Rao, Suman Shetty and Lari. Ramya Krishnan is doing a special dance number in this film and a few songs were picturised in some exotic locales of Lebanon.
K.C.N Chandrasekhar and S.Dorairaj are the producers. Srikanth Deva is the music director and V.T.Vjayan is the editor. Vali, Palani Bharathy, Thamarai, Pa Vijay, Kalai Kumar and Snehan have written the lyrics. Stunt is by Super Subbarayan and camera is by V.Prabhakar. |
