Ahhhh I didn't think I saw one but the above post made me wonder.  (btw, the emoticon is utterly irrelevant to the post but he looked jolly so I thought "why not". |

ALl I really have to say is that could you post the most recent reply or post at the top of the list on the first page...?
I have seen it on other forums and its much easier to see whats going on or what the latest post is a reply to.

Those options are available in a vBullettin forum.

hi all..
In order to improve this forum , I think the first thing to do is to categorize the forum into clear definite categories..
next.. we should NOT obligue the web developpers to write in the forum in order to upgrade their domains.. this is meaningless as they write bla bla just to get credit..
thus we'll clean the forum from this bla bla posts..

Please expand - which categories would you like to see? I actually think the current categories work well...
Wasn't aware of the posting to upgrade the domains thing, but completely agree with you on this. This is a lively and active forum with a good community (my first impressions) and has no need of required posts, although this does guarantee a continual flow of new members and content. Ther are many swings and roundabouts to consider when forum hosting and community building. I'd like to see more colour and pictures, but initiating that would cost on pageload time, particularly for those on slow connections. |
