NetFreeHost.com phpBB server move - Dual AMD Opteron 246

Hi All,

We are moving the phpBB forums hosted on sub domains of NetFreeHost.com to new server.

Presenty we are serving more than 100,000 pages a day. We found current server could not handle the server load or having some problems at times. So we are moving the sites to new server.

New server configuration is

Dual AMD Opteron 246
1024MB RAM x 2 = 2048MB
73GB SCSI Drive
2000GB BW

New server have Dual processor, 2 GB RAM, SCSI HD, so you can expect better performace than current server.

We have already moved all forums to new server (about 30 GB of data). Now we need to take all forums down for a short time to make sure no posts are missing during the server move.

All forums will be online once the move is finished.

Server Move Finished. All sites are now served from new server.

Glad to know the forums have been moved to the new server. Thanks your continuous efforts to improve!!

However automatic language selection of browsers (IE, FF, Opera) no longer works after the move. Please check the settings of the new server. Thank you

The problem with language is fixed. Hope it is working fine for you.
