Can't change the banner

I didnot able to change my banner. Some one help me. I already tried both jpg and gif.

maybe that's beaucause of the skin you selected.
Some skins do not support banner mode.
Try default skin subSilver.

The banner problem was solved a while ago
so u can ypload new banner now

General admin -> Configure banner
and browse to the image file in ur hard disk
.jpg and .gif only

I just opened a site today and I can not get a banner on the site. I used jpg and gif. Nothing works and I am using the Athena Theme.

How do we get a banner for our sites?

sheenie, Not all themes will show banners.

Give URL of your forum, i can check if we are able to get the theme show your banner.

I am also having problems with the banner. I was able to get a banner to load and it worked great. Since then we have incorporated our other station into the forum and need to change the banner to a different picture. When I go to load the new picture into the banner it does not change the banner, the old picture remains.

I have tried to upload the file as it is named and I have also tried changing the name of the file to logo in the gif format. It looks like it changes when named logo.gif (not sure, sometimes it seems it reverts back depending on the user logging in) but in the gif format the file loses a lot of color and detail. I had a jpg file picture in there originally. The new logo.gif picture looks like it applies, but if I try to replace the banner with a newer jpg file (not the one originally on the site) the banner reverts back to the original jpg picture we had on there.

I also have a problem being able to change avatars once a user has selected one. It seems to be hit or miss whether they are able to change their avatar once that already have one. The avatars are within the 6k limit set by bizhat and they are within the size limit set by us.

I can't put a link to my forum cause of a anti-spam warning. Anyways the forum is charlotteems and then the rest

Well That Daj Glass logo on my forum is ugly. I can't change it and my users got use to the theme. Nokia please man can u do something about it!!!
