| Well as far as PC games go here's what i've found that interested me. sadly there all by the same maker. Warcraft 1,2,3,FT, Diablo 1&2, and now the best of all is World of Warcraft. Witch is a mix of the other 2 gaming lines it is quit a blast. |

Crysis. - I wish I could play it online 
Counter-Strike Source. - I make a lot of maps to it. Its fun!
GTA San Andreas. - SO awesome in online!
F.E.A.R. - Most scariest game ever! |

C&C one was solid
FEAR really pushed the envelop on what was possible, but lacked some of the enironmental interaction of the Source Engine

One of my favorite games would be "Relentless". It is actually a really old school game that ran on windows 95. I don't think it would even work on 98.
The graphics were very basic with mere polygons to animate the characters which were probably advanced for its time. It was one of the first games I can ever think of to incorporate real speech recordings for the dialog.
The game has a good storyline, though it may be a bit overused now-a-days. One of those "chosen one" stories.
