In my opinion, it is picture ads as it catches attention of visitors more. A picture properly designed convey a lot of information in a fast and efficient way.
That is why people like to click on icons than using the text menu. |

I agree, but as far as I know google pays less for picture ads.
fastbuilder, do a search, or experiment with both strategies ans see which one fits you the best. |
