Hello,

Listening requires hearing what is being said.
To follow along, and sometimes your feed back
is required.Some of us are not interested
with the conversation, and some don't care, they
just want you to shut up. Being preoccupied and
distracted, can cause day dreaming.

The reason for saying this is because it's important
to be attentive and respectful if someone else is
speaking, Because when it's your time to speak you
will want others to take you seriously.

Yeah, you are right. We should wait till the other person stops his speech and then say out our points politely. But most of the times we fail to do that.
