Superstar Vikram, director Hari and music director Harris Jayaraj the winning combination of the year after the mega blockbuster Saamy is back with their new film titled Arul.

The shooting started on December 19 at AVM studio with a dream song featuring Vikram and Jyothika. Arul will be ready on May 1st, 2004. The film is already in the news for the winning combination and the expectations are sky high.

Vikram has lost seven kilos for the role and he looked very fresh and rejuvenated after his Ayurvedic treatment in Kerala. He sports a beard and looks more handsome (see pic).
In Arul Vikram plays an ordinary guy and he said: "The film will be an all out action film against a family backdrop. It is too early to talk more about the film".
