Will Govinda stand for elections?

From the Bollyuwood dhol to the voting poll! Our ‘Raja Babu’ has apparently been approached by the Congress to stand for elections from the Mumbai North Constituency.

With him having turned producer, the Congress may just contribute to some progress towards his first home production venture, ‘Sukh’. But, when we contacted his spokesperson Shashi Prabhuji (as Govinda was out of town) he said, “It’s true that Govinda has been approached by the Congress. But the actor hasn’t yet made a decision.”

In retrospect, Govinda has campaigned for the Congress political party earlier, but will he do so again is what remains to be seen.
