I myself use a combination of these. Photoshop is usedmost, because of its' versatility, but, I also use Corel Painter, the old win98 Paint, Photoshop CS, some Flash, and, lastly, I used to use Gimp.

Photoshop CS2, a lot of features that most of them I dont know.
Before I used Corel but I feel good about Photoshop because of tutorials are everywhere.
