Mammootty for another double role

In an interesting development, the makers of Palery Maanikyam - Pathira Kolapathakinte Katha, has finally made it clear that Mammootty will be playing a double role in the movie.



The superstar will be in the roles of a CBI officer who is re investigating the crime in the present day and also as a Muslim landlord, who was involved in the original crime in the late fifties. The movie which is based on a serialised novel which appeared in a popular weekly, is on the Manikkam murder case which rocked the state in fifties. The movie making has been in the news for quite some time as the makers were conducting workshops for a month to train the fresh actors appearing in the movie. The shoot for the movie will kick off by the third of July.
