Bala gets engaged to Amritha

Malayalam-Tamil actor Bala got engaged to star singer fame Amritha Suresh at a function held at the Saj Hotel in Nedumbassery. Only relatives and close friends of the families were invited for the function. The marriage has been fixed to September 2010.



Amritha, a native of Edapally and daughter of Suresh of Travancore Cements and Laila became famous through Asianet’s Star Singer programme held in 2007.

Bala was introduced by director Anil in Kalabham in 2006. His other Malayalam films include Big B, Sound of Boot, SMS, Ayudham, Champada and Venalmaram.

Bala, a Tamilian started his career in Tamil movies. He debuted in Anbu and later in Kadhal Kisu Kisu, Amma Appa Selvan and Kalinga. He is now very active in Malayalam films.
