As per Malluwood grapevine after the super success ofPuthiya Mugham, Prithviraj has hiked his salary from Rs 25 to 40 lakhs!
The film is a super hit and has taken a share of over Rs 2 crore from releasing stations in 17 days, with Ernakulam Shenoys netting Rs 21 the highest in Kerala. It is Pritviraj’s biggest hit and the film that became profitable from Kerala theatricals in record 17 days.
Meanwhile Puthiya Mugham, has given Prithvi a new action hero image, and is now considered by the trade as the inheritor to M & M’s throne which they were fiercely guarding for the last 20 years.
The first preference for theatres in Kerala, this Ramzan is Prithvi’s Robin Hooddue on September 18. All these factors have made him hot, so it was natural that hiked his salary.
