Hi,
I have a free hosted phpbb forum (btw thanks Bizhat )!,
I use the subSilver template, can I insert my own background image (url image link)?

I don't think you will be able to change background image. You can select different template if you need.

You can see different templates available at phpbb style demo

Almost all these templates are available on hosted phpBB forum.

Once upon a time I had a phpbb and I think there might be a way to add a background image. If there is it will be a small CSS type addition to the header. I can't make any promises but when my account gets activated I'll register a phpbb and dabble around with it and try to get back with you.

Yes that can be done by editing CSS

It's a free phpbb hosted forum, I hope we can do it!
