I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, but I've read on here that it's to do with my template not supporting CAPTCHA?
Help would be very much appreciated!! Nobody can register on my forum |

Tenbinza, CAPTCHA is enabled on your forum, so registration will work.
Have you tried registration yourself ? |

Yes, personally I have no problem. Almost everyone else that tries to register reports that the confirmation code image won't load, though.
If there's any way you can just get rid of the darn code, please do so
Thanks!! |

Hello,
I have the same problem in my forum http://cov.s1.bizhat.com.
I have the "confirmation code" option disabled (no new register should need to enter the confirmation code), but even so, nobody is able to register because the error message "Your confirmation code is incorrect" always appears.
If I activate the "confirmation code" option, then everybody that tries to register sees the same message, and no confirmation code appears.
I tryed myself, and I confirmed the problem. When registring now here in the Support forum, I saw the confirmation code and registration was Ok.
Can you pls check this? Nobody is registring in my Forum |

Hello,
I've read more details on other topics (I started writing on this one without checking them first ), and I changed the Basic Style back to subSilver and it's working now. I had before FI Subgrey... |

I'm quite adamant about keeping my current style, though. It's the only properly suitable style for my forum I've found so far and I'm rather in love with it. |

| pbrandao, you will not able to disable confirmation code. This is required to prevent spam bots. |

What's the use in prevention of spam bots when it also prevents everyone else?
I'd rather have spam bots and users than no one at all. I've had many, many people interested but only around 10 have managed to register on my forum
It's driving me crazy, is there anything you can please do? :S |

| No, it will not prevent everyone else. Even this forum have SAME captcha enabled. You will see most of the forums have now CAPTCHA enabled. |

Some of my forum users are also experiencing problems with seeing the registration cofirmation code. I'm using the sub-silver template.
Could someone kick the tires on rage.s3.bizhat.com to see if it can fixed?
Thank you. |

Captcha work well with subsilver template, if user can't see, it should be problem with the users computer or browser and this is rare chance.
Now most of the login/signup scripts use CAPTCHA for security. |

| Fair enough but what's the point in security if there's no one to protect? :/ |

If you do not protect your forum, it will become place for abusers, we don't want that happen.
Also all forums have CAPTCHA enabled, not just one. And those who complained about CAPTCHA never spend time to verify it themselves, just posted here.
Its better you should ask other users here if CAPTCHA is showing on your forum.
When you get a complaint, verify it yourself first. Removing CAPTCHA is not possible, only thing we can do is fix it if it is not working. |
