users are not so active in contests
abt shop
what type of shop u are saying
shops are possible only if users are reputed or user have some points
but both systems are not in our forum
it's a good idea to keep contests
but we need active partcipation |

it's a sharing forum
and user's contributions is a must.

we have to host another forum
put some mods there
and maintain it.

I have taken the feee forum , can any one tell me how to
1. make the banner go to a different URL
2. Get in contact with support. I have at least three registered members who never got sent an activation email
3. Remove the members list icon, from my forum |

| Is this directed only at this particular forum or for all of the forums that you host as well? ether way I would suggest the Sub-forum mod. Sub-forums allow for cleaner forums and more advanced organization. I have also found it very effective to include a sub-forum test forum. You can allow spamming in this forum. This should drive all of the spamming to that particular forum and will make your jobs easier. I would post an example of where this is used but I have not made enough post to include a link in my post yet. This is a suggestion but my members have been asking me when we will get sub-forums. I hope I have helped out in some way. Thanks for the great service!!! |

| Please do post a link when u have completed. I would like to see. I still cannot work out how to link my site URL to the forum using the banner though. And its so annoying that I know of three people (and there are probably more) who have registered and simply cannot post as they have not been provided the activation email) And support here just does not reply! |

So far the forum is good.
But i agree with musicacademy, there should be a search engine in the forum. That makes easier for user. |
