I am also a newbie here in using bizhat but when it comes to flash software, I can say that I have a little experience and knowledge there. Since it seems that you are a newbie in using flash, I'd like to suggest you to visit the site www.kirupa.com which helped me a lot when I was newbie also like you...
I'd also like to suggest you to visit the www.2advanced.com and www.flahoo.com for you to appreciate the power of animation using macromedia flash... |

If I were you I would take a digital multimedia class that includes Flash animation in the syllabus. I am learning flash and am using this site to upload my files. I think the best way to learn flash is in a classroom. But if you wanna learn on your own, you can read such great books like Flash 8 professional or Flash on Demand!!

Learning flash will take some time.
When I tried to learn flash, I downloaded few ebooks and went through those ebooks. Sometimes Its quite boring to go through such large number of pages! Learning in any institution would be a good idea  |

| ^I agree that it will take a long time, when I started i thought my movies were really cool (now, looking back on it, they're really bad) and it took over a year for me to make one that comes close to some of the ones on newgrounds |
