We have 3 pcs in our house, all on a wireless network. I can't access my forum from either of them, nor from my PSP. However I can access it from my mobile and I can see that although I haven't been able to get on at all this weekend there has been activity so other users aren't having the same problem.

Is this a problem with my wireless router settings?

Would appreciate any pointers from anyone who cares to read this.

Thanks,

Stretch

It seems a local problem.

Are you able to ping to the site from your pc ?

In dos / command prompt, run the command

ping yourforum.netfreehost.com

and see if it shows the IP of the forum.

If not it is a DNS problem.

Can you run the command

tracert IP

Replace IP with IP of forum, this will show the route and where it stops. Do a screenshot of result and post it.

If you are on Windows, press "Prt Scr" button on keyboard. this is above "Delete", "Insert" key on your pc. Then open photoshop (or other similar program) and do a paste (CTRL + V), you will get screen shot of your desktop.

Nokia, I've sorted it. For some reason the settings on my wireless router had been changed to PPPoA ffrom PPPoE and curiously, my forum was the only website not accessible with these settings.

Thanks for your help.
