In the spring of 2005 I traveled to the Skaggit Valley in Washington state, USA. There I saw acre upon acre of tulips and daffodils in bloom! I stayed in the area for a week visiting various tourist places and taking lots of pictures. Since I live in the desert, I had never seen more than a few tulips in one place. Whole fields of tulips were an amazing sight! I visited companies that grow tulip bulbs to sell. There were tulips of many colors and sizes!
If I could figure out how to upload one of my photos, I would share some of the pictures I took on that trip. |
