Log in to your admin account via the admin log in page. On the selection menu on the left, scroll down until you see User Admin. Click on the Permissions link.
If you have the user name of the person whom you want to appoint as a moderator, type it in and click on Look Up User.
Next, just set the Moderator status for the folders which you want this user to be a moderator of (i.e. only Is Moderator and Not Moderator are available) and click on Submit to save.
Now that user is a moderator of the folder which you have set him to. To restrict his rights to the folder, you will have to set the Permissions under the Forum Admin section. Anything with MOD - ALL will give him permission to do. Only if you set it to ADMIN would he then be unable to perform that task, e.g. Delete |
