As you can see, it seems that my quota is almost full, although I have absolutely nothing on my account. just 2 files. .ftpquota and .htaccess .

Im having this problem with uploading any and every filetype...primarily coz its saying that I'm exceeding the quota. Pls lemme know whats hapenning.

Thanks a lot

.ftpquota file is used to track quota by pureftpd, it went wrong some way. I recreated the file, tryed uploading/deleting the files, it worked fine for me.

What FTP Program you use ?

How to set the FTP program to show files start with "." ?

Well I use gftp (on linux). So that shows the .files by default....maybe it would be a good idea to make sure its hidden else you might have ppl messing with the quota files Very Happy
*Hope i'm not putting ideas into anyones head*

aaargh....same problem again. So Now I sort of figured whats hapenning. For somereason when I upload stuff....it dosent get uploaded onto the server. I mean....i get no error messages....the ftp client even says everythings been uploaded, etc....but then when I list the directory...nothings gone in....at the most it just creates the blank directories, but cant seem to fill them up. At the same time it still does seem to 'upload' the files, as it gives transfer rates , etc...and so .ftpquota gets updated with howmuch you are uploading....but since it dosent showup on my directory...I cant delete it, so as I try to upload again and again....my ftp quota keeps dying on me.

edit: Finally figured out why this is hapenning. Your structure dosent seem to be capable of recognizing directories with spaces in them....even the webclient messes up if you dir has a space in it. I really would suggest fixing this, as its very inconvenient not to be able to have directory names with spaces in them. Do lemme know about what can be done...also my ftp quote needs to be reset again as its showing more than what it actually is.
Cheers
