Hello,
I will make a trip to Boavista in January. I didn't book transfer. My experience from other holiday trips is that it is more convenient to manage transfer by myself (Faster, cheaper). But since this is my first visit at this island i am not sure regarding this matter. Maybe someone can tell? Is there cabs waiting outside airport? Is it easy to catch one?

There are many private Cab Rental Services available in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune. Few of them are listed below. you can call them and book the cab. Please use STD code number "022" before you call. Cab charges Rs. 24 for the first KM and then Rs. 17 for each subsequent KM. Waiting charges are 50 paisa/Minute. Midnight(12 AM- 5 AM) charges are 25% Extra on your regular charges.
The cab service in Pune are bit costly than the Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The base fare in Mumbai is Rs. 50 for the first KM. and Rs. 16 for each subsequent KM. The waiting charges are Rs. 1 per minute. the midnight charges are same as Mumbai.
