The Choice Kinderland is dedicated to the youngest of our students. Housed in a colourful, stimulating and child-friendly building, the programs offered are designed for the development of various Early Learning Skills at these three levels.
The Kinder Ark (2 ½ - 3 ½ years)
The Ark offers Early Years experiences in an informal setting, full of warmth acceptance and love. The teacher-pupil ratio is 1:10. The curriculum is taken up through rhymes and guided activities and through indoor and outdoor play.
The Kindergarten (3 ½ - 4 ½ years)
This group is placed in a caring and non-competitive environment and is offered a Readiness Oriented Programme. The programme is specifically designed to enhance all aspects of development – physical, emotional, social and intellectual.
The Prep (4 ½ - 5 ½)
This group is offered meaningful teaching and learning activities that help to acquire reading writing, arithmetic skill along with an aptitude for other activities.
The programme is executed through various guided activities such as games, kinesthetic drills, musical activities and activities that encourage keen observation.
At the Kindergarten and the Prep level, children are given exposure to literature, music and theatre.
The Choice Kinderland is well equipped with all necessary amenities, such as

Std I – IV
http://www.choiceschool.com/images/primary1.jpgPrimary education has been identified as the most crucial stage in the education of a child. The aim of the Choice Primary is to provide a sound foundation in the development of a child’s personality and his / her understanding of good and bad.
The Primary students are housed in a colourful building with vibrant interiors that captures the interest and stimulate the imagination of these young minds. The various themes depicted on the walls, such as the sea world, the rain forests and the galaxy, help create a strong visual impact and provide students with an appealing atmosphere for learning.
The children of the primary school begin their day with an assembly where music takes center stage. They also participate actively in renditions of classical music, which forms an integral part of the assembly. The class assemblies give every child an opportunity to shed inhibitions and expose their talents.
Field trips and nature walks also form an interesting part of the curriculum. Children are also encouraged to actively participate in various sports activities.
Children of the primary school are introduced to computers from Class 3. The Junior Library develops reading habits in young children through fun-based activities, dramatics, listening to audio-tapes etc. The creative urge in children is further enhanced with art and craft activities. Children are also provided options to further enhance their theatrical, physical and artistic skills.
To sum up, the prime focus at the Choice Primary is to promote activity-based knowledge in a child-friendly environment.



The Main School
From the carefree, fun-based years of primary school, students then graduate to the main school (Std V – VII), the High School (Std VIII – X) and the Senior School (Std XI – XII).

Std V – VII

It is at this stage that the foundation for overall development of a child is laid. Skills and talents are identified, nurtured and enhanced.
Students begin participating in inter-house & inter-school activities, and choose from a variety of extra-curricular activities and classes offered by the school.

Std VII – X
The students of the High School are trained to handle the increasing demands of academics, based on the C.B.S.E curriculum. Students are prepared for their first board examinations.

Innovative and interactive workshops are conducted on issues related to after adolescence helping students understand the phase of life they are passing through. Career Counselling also forms an integral part at this level.

With the successful completion of the Board Examinations at the class X level, students proceed to the Senior Secondary School. Students are offered a combination of subjects to choose from that would be necessary in their pursuit of a career. To meet the varying needs of students and the growing career options, the School offers an assortment of subject combinations in Science and Commerce streams.

The Choice School Boarding is a testimony of the commitment to all round excellence. In response to the need for a good Boarding School, the doors of our boarding opened to the first batch of boarders in June 1993. The Boarding is designed to cater to the needs of 150 students. A team of well-trained staff look after the emotional needs and physical well-being of the children.

The School Boarding provides boarding facilities to both boys and girls. The boarding offers a homely and clean environment. During the course of their stay in the boarding, the children are groomed in areas of deportment, personal hygiene, etiquette, academic pursuits, and co-curricular activities. The resident staff of the boarding are trained and equipped to meet the day-to-day needs of the children.

The Choice Boarding is a two floor residential complex. The residents live in state of the art dormitories that have boarding with boarding and neat and clean toilets and bathroom facilities. The residents have assigned corners within the dorm according to their class levels.

Ergonomically designed two tier beds with added storage space are provided. Cupboards and shelf space are provided for each resident. Laundry service, Cloth dryers, drying room for wet towels, separate cubicles for keeping toiletries, hot water facilities, separate box rooms and shoe rooms etc are other notable conveniences that are offered.

The Resident Tutors are committed to look after the personal and academic needs of the students.
The boarding provides fresh and nutritious food keeping in mind the health needs of growing children. The boarding has a mouthwatering yet wholesome diet on the menu.

Admission to Choice Boarding A separate boarding application form should be collected along with the normal school application forms if boarding admission is required.
