For some strange reason, everybody now is curious about making films on Raja Raviverma. Shaji N Karun had talked about making a film on the gifted artist and his Maharashtrian model. ‘Suryamukhi’ is the name of the film. Ajay Devgan and Madhuri Dixit are going to play the lead roles. This is Madhuri’s comeback film after marriage and two kids.


Meanwhile, a Bollywood filmmaker has now announced that he too is planning to make a film on Raja Raviverma!!!


The Bollywood film is based on a classical novel, ‘Raja Raviverma’ by Ranjit Desai. Ketan Mehta, the Bollywood filmmaker, is planning to make an onscreen adaptation of the book. ‘Colors of Passion’ is the name of the film. Researches have started. In all probabilities, this film will be released in April 2007.


‘Colors of Passion’ is going to be a big-budget Indo-Canadian collaboration.
