Katy Perry is secretly taking acting lessons in the hope of landing a sitcom role. According to a friend, the singer knows that her success as a music star won’t last forever, so she is eyeing some role on small screen.
“Despite her pop success she knows her music career won’t last for ever. And as she found out with Russell, all that touring isn’t good for maintaining a relationship,” the Daily Star quoted the friend as telling Goss.
The ‘California Gurls’ singer, who split from Russell Brand, in December, has been coached in serious and comic acting.
“She’d love to be in a sit-com,” the pal added.
