'Vallatha Pahayan ' is one movie that created big laughter during the Black and white era. But now after four decades from the movie, producer Milan Jaleel is coming up with another film titled the same. Produced under his Galaxy films' this new ' Vallatha Pahayan" will feature the main actors who became immensely popular through "Marimayam" - the satirical tele soap aired by Mazhavil Manorama.

The movie will have the whole 'Marimayam' team coming up to create a full length comedy. The star cast includes the 'Marimayam' stars Manikandan Pattambi, Rachna, Niyas, Vinod Kovoor, Sreekumar and Sneha, supported by Janardhanan, Mamukoya,Sadiq, Irshad,Narayanan kutty, Indrans, Jaffer Idukki, Sunil Sugatha,kalabhavan Haneef, Mala Aravindan,Kochupreman,KPAC Lalitha, Kulappulli Leela and ,Subi Suresh.

To be directed by newcomers Rasak Mohammed and Niyas Bakar, Vijayan is in charge of the writing department while Utpal V Nayanar handles the camera. The shoot for the film is scheduled to start on February last, and is due for release in May 2013.
