Default How to burn ISO images in Linux

    1. Insert disc & power K3b

K3b will launch into the main menu as seen above. By default, like all CD/DVD burner software, it will offer to create a plain data disc. We don't want a data disc now. To burn an image, go to Tools > Burn CD image ... or Burn DVD ISO image .

    2. Select image

Your browse into the directory where the .iso file you want to burn is located and select it.

    3. Review options

Once the ISO is selected, you'll see a whole lot of information in the menu. You can change the burn speed, change the writing mode, use simulation before burning the image and verify the process at the end.

Unlike most other burners, K3b will display lots of meta data about the image.

    4. Burn

    Just click Start and enjoy.
