synchronization
Yeah, there are indeed many FTP programs, but those that are free seem to be too basic. What I miss is synchronization. This is a very useful feature especially for updating your website after having made some changes here and there. So if anyone knows of a free FTP program with synchronization features, please let me knwo.

ftp client
For me the native ftp from command prompt does all the job. Pretty user un-friendly interface thought, but works.

Filezilla: it's powerfull and free, what else do you need?

Well when it works (either it's buggy or I just screwed up the setup or something), Dreamweaver MX has built int FTP controls, and it's a syncronizer, So I could edit a file and directly save onto the server... but of course when I bought the Macromedia MX Suite, it left a hefty hole in my wallet...

The best program for ftp is NcFtp for Linux and Getright for Windows.
