London: Hollywood actor Sean Connery, who was the first actor to play James Bond, is eyeing a new career - without an idea what it would be - after turning his back on acting.

The star has not appeared on the big screen since his 2003 release “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”

He now wants to try his hand at something different as he feels he has not achieved everything he wants in life.

"I have come into a different cycle since I decided not to do any more films. I have a feeling there is something cooking though I don't know what it is yet," Connnery said at the Monday launch of his autobiography “Being A Scot” in Edinburgh.

Connery is best known as the first actor to portray James Bond in the movies' franchise, starring in seven 007 films.
