A lot of people trying to register Keep getting

Sorry SFS User banned

And yet its the first time 99% of em have been to the site Anyone know why?

Same on our forum.
We don't get many new registrations but we have been getting about 40 bogus/spam regs every day, so at least they've stopped, but as you say legitimate registrations can't get on.

My users have been saying that when they get notification emails, it is a link that does not take them there anymore. The only change I have made is to enable SFS. Could that have something to do with it?. Not heard of any being told there banned tho, But I activate new users myself rather than user activation.

This is fixed, it should work now.

We use the same Stop Forum Spam database to stop spammers here.

On this forum, we used to get 1000's of spam everyday. This caused lot of problem, missed many of your posts, even banned users accidentally while deleting these spams by mistake.

After installing StopForumSpam, we are only getting few spams.

On s4.bizhat.com forums, admins can disable sfs filter if they want.

On other forums, we will be adding option to disable in few days.
