    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

    Why don't you think it this way, what will you do if something like this happens to your loved ones? Don't take me wrong here, its life and anything is possible.

    And by the way Mr. guru, you were talking about tax payers money and stuff, you think that the tax money you pay is going to pay her bills? not in a million years dude.

    And media expenses.......... what are you talking about, media people are making money for the ad's by showing something worthless.

    To conclude, its all a matter b/w the person affected and their loved ones, its none of of our business to poke in to these issues. And also, MR. CFE, you said brain dead people are useless, can you tell me "compared to what they are useless". Nothing is useless in this world, and all that matters is how you make it useful.

    Should we allow Brain Dead people to live on life support ? Did she want to become a mother after death ? Want her daughter to live with out mother ?

    If god wanted to kill the baby, it would have happened. But the baby was born healthy, so it must have been what god wanted.

    Oh....you don't believe god has anything to do with these human rights issues. You would be right.

    The father was given an option when she died, and that was to keep her body alive to save the child. He didn't know what to do. And so he thought and thought. And then 3 months had passed. And by then he figured what the hell why not.

    My problem is that these cases become public opinion. Who really cares what one person does with their body. It's not like people are going around killing others, they are going out of there way to not kill. You can always kill the person later.

    Do we have to bring God into it? This was a matter between the man and his wife, and he did what he thought his wife would have wanted; kept her alive until the baby could be born healthy. What's wrong with that?

    Killing someone is wrong. It's immoral. It also happens to be illegal. No matter what the persons mental or physical condition is or will be in the future, they are still human beings. They deserve the same respect and love we deserve, and probably more because they have some sort of defect. As for the baby, its a human being so killing it would be murder too. I am a Catholic so I am here to stand for life and promote it. God made everyone, even the brain dead, the babies, the handicapped, so doing anything to them is a sin.

    Ok so here is a non-religious point on it: in the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." It does not say "all perfectly capable and healthy men and women between ages 18 and 50 are created equal" it says everyone, even the brain dead and babies.

    Imagine if the US government said that you should die because you have green hair. They say that you, with your green hair, do not contribute to society and they have no use for you. How would your family feel? How would you feel?

    I think the right thing was done. The baby was saved, by keeping the woman alive.

    Normal braindead people, however, should not be kept alive. If you talk about the family wanting to keep them on life support forever, the doctors might as well replace them with a doll.
