Chevy Captiva is available in two engine options; an all new 2,231cc four cylinder VCDi diesel engine and a 2.0 litre four cylinder VCDi diesel engine. The 2.2 litre DOHC engine belts out top power of 186.5 PS at 3800 rpm and peak toque of 424 Nm at 2000 rpm whereas the 2.0 litre SOHC engine churns max power of 150 PS at 4000 rpm and ultimate torque of 320 Nm at 2000 rpm. The former is mated to six speed automatic transmission while the later is bestowed with five speed manual transmission. Charismatic Captiva sprints from 0-100 kmph in mere 9.6 seconds.

Exteriors:-

New Chevrolet Captiva has just got better with time. The front grill has become broader and more aggressive embracing mighty Captiva with profound looks. Besides grill, the headlamps are also redesigned & a new chrome lined windows is installed to enhance the sporty character of Chevy SUV. Concluding the facelift are the moulded side mirrors and better fog lamps housings. Rest all the details are kept intact including the sober rear end and side profile with flared wheel arches for the 17 inch alloy wheels.
