Hi, is there any way to password protect my cd's. I need that because some people are using my cd's without my permission. They are copied cd's of course. I need to password protect them, so when they insert them in any computer, they will be asked for a password to access the cd. If there is any way that I can do this or any software, Please tell me. I'm tired of people using my stuff without my permission. Thank You

U hav plextools which allows u to encrypt the Cd and password protect it. Only those who know passowrd will hav access. I use dat for very very very confidential data |

Doesn't it seem more appealing than the first one?
Anyway thanks for the software . i don't have the Plextor cd writer suggested by u. will try this software and comment. I have one more doubt. If i password protect a cd and open in another comp which doesn't have the s/w installed in his comp can i open the file? Does the question seem silly? |

yes, i somehow picked up the correct thread Guttu.
The file size seems to multipy a lot. for eg if i password protected a 22KB file, it rised to 700KB after becoming exe. That way the content written to a cd becomes less. And there is one more restriction. For a unregistered version u can use only one character for password protection. Except these two disadvantages, the software works fine. |

U dint got the crack??
Since the proggy is around 2yr old u'll find crack easily i thought about the file size the extra file size is due to program code so if u try larger files say 2mb then size will b 2+680k=2680k 5mb then 5680k something like that so u'll lose jus around 680k thats small amount i think |
