Use cookers and cook easy
1. Termal cookers are the optimum choices for cooking rice. Allow the rice to boil in water and then transfer the pot into the thermal cooker. Rice cooks in about an hours time.
2. When the rice pot is being transferred to the cooker other dishes may also be heated along side by placing the over the hot rice pot.
3. In the pressure cooker rice and green gram can be cooked simultaneously. The only difference being boiled water should be used for rice and ordinary water for green gram.
4. The rubber gasket on the lid of the pressure cooker should be of the correct size and in perfect condition, otherwise pressure developed within the cooker will not be sufficient.
5. Once the pressure cooker is taken off the fire, the clip is loosened. When all the pressure gets released, the cover falls off on its own. Till then the food cooks in the cooker.
