Thank you for sharing Mumbai photos. Mumbai is the financial capital and the main city. But Mumbai is one of the dirtiest cities of India.
The areas near airport is full of slums and many slum areas are full of shantis. When a foreigner lands at the airport he gets a good picture about the city. He may avoid a city tour!.
City is notorious for traffic jam and the deadly rush. Madding crowd move and run all the day and night. In the peak time one cannot travel in trains due to heavy rush.
City is a pile of wastes create by the population. Toilet facilites are insufficient for the Mumbaites. Railway tracks and roads are used as toilets !. Floods are common during the monsoon due to the lack of drainage system (blocked due to dumped wastes). Train services are stopped for several days due to heavy rains as the tracks will be under water.
City is under the control of underworld dons and police encounters are some what common. Red light areas of Kamatipura does a great flesh trade, spreading the deadly disease - AIDS. Call girls and bar dancers work round the clock !. Drug peddlers are doing great business in the college campuses.
Let us make our city clean, peaceful and beautiful. Aamchi Mumbai.
