Karthi all praise for ‘Attakathi’

Karthi Sivakumar seems to be on a mission- that to encourage aspiring actors and filmmakers. A day after he came out with a motivating speech at the audio launch of ‘Kumki’, the actor on Friday heaped laurels on the team behind ‘Attakathi’. Speaking at a function to introduce the cast and crew of ‘Attakathi’ in Chennai, Karthi said, “The film has kindled the memories of student days. I am sure that the movie will give a new experience to the audience,” he said.
Stating that no film had attempted so far to throw light on the lives of people in suburb areas, Karthi said ‘Attakathi’ would fill the gap. “This film will attract men and women equally,” he added.
Starring newcomers Dinesh and Nandhitha in lead roles, ‘Attakathi’ is produced by C V Kumar. Directed by Ranjith, a former associate of Venkat Prabhu, the movie will be released by Gnanavelraja of Studio Green.
