M.Sc. Nursing Entrance Results

The Provisional Rank list of General candidates and the results of service candidates who have appeared for the Entrance Examination for admission to M.Sc.Nursing 2012 conducted on 09.09.2012 at Thiruvananthapuram has been published. Renu K Nair, Kuzhivila Revathy Bhavan, Vadacode, Thozhukkal, Neyyattinkara P O, Thiruvananthapuram has secured the first rank in the Entrance Examination. The Answer Keys to the questions were published on 10.09.2012. A few complaints regarding the questions / keys have been received and the same have been examined by Expert Committee constituted for the purpose. Based on the recommendations of the Committee some modifications have been made in the answer keys published on 10.09.2012.
While preparing the rank list, seven questions have been deleted since there were more than one correct choice for some questions or errors in the others. These questions have not been included for valuation and no marks have been awarded for these deleted questions to any candidate.
The marks obtained for the remaining 193 questions have been multiplied by (200/193) to get the actual marks (corrected to four decimals). The above formula is applied to award proportionate marks based on the score of the candidates in the questions considered for valuation (excluding deleted questions) to compensate the loss of marks for the deleted questions. The Provisional Rank list of General Quota candidates and the results of Service Quota candidates will be available for reference in this office and on the website.

Inclusion of a candidate in the rank list does not entitle him/her for admission to the courses, unless he/she satisfies the eligibility conditions contained in the Government approved Prospectus. The Director of Medical Education will make allotment and admissions as per the conditions laid down in the Prospectus.
