Throw away old things. Start with the most bulky and clumsy ones. If there are big containers that you don't use anymore, or you use them but can put the items somewhere else (such as under your bed), empty them, then throw them away or put them in another room.

Take a look at your room and the furniture inside. Try to be open-minded. Think about ideas that may make your room beautiful and neat.

Lighten your room. Swap your lamp bulb with brighter, stronger one. Try to use natural light as much as you can. It may help you feel more energized.

Be neat with your work or school supplies. Put pens in decorative mugs.
