CAT for admissions to IIMs

• The Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to 13 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other business schools will be held from October 16 to November 11, with four more test locations — Thiruvananthapuram, Surat, Udaipur and Vijayawada.

The CAT voucher will be available at selected Axis Bank branches from July 29 to September 24, and the CAT registration window will be open from July 29 to September 26.

The IIM, Indore, is convening CAT 2013.

• Higher secondary schools in Kerala will distribute application forms and prospectus for Plus One admission from May 10. The filled applications will be received till May 24.

Apply online through the official website of the Higher Secondary Directorate. The first online allotment will be made on June 10. A trial allotment will be held on June 4. The final seat allotment will be on June 25.

• The ER&DCI Institute of Technology under C-DAC, Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications for admission to M.Tech. courses in Electronics with specialisation in VLSI and Embedded Systems and Computer Science with specialisation in Cyber Forensics and Information Security.
