KVASU entrance test

The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) has invited applications for a common entrance test to be held at various centres in the State on June 30 for admission to M.Sc. programmes. The disciplines, number of seats and qualification required.

Wildlife Studies: 10 seats; B.Sc. Botany or Zoology, B.V.Sc.&AH, B.Sc. Forestry or any degree in Biosciences.

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology: 10; degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Dairy Science and Zoology.

Applied Microbiology: 10; degree in Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science and Agriculture.

Animal Biotechnology: 10; degree in Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Agriculture and Dairy Science and Technology.

Animal Science: 10; B.V.Sc.&AH or B.Sc. Zoology.

Quality Systems in Dairy Processing: 10; B.Tech. in Dairy Technology or Food Technology or B.Sc. Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics.

Biostatistics: 15; B.Sc. Statistics or Mathematics with Statistics as subsidiary.

Agricultural entrance test

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has invited applications for an entrance examination for admission to postgraduate programmes.

The course and their details are as follows:

M.Sc. programmes in Agriculture, Horticulture, Home Science, Cooperation and Banking, and Forestry.

M.Tech. course in Agricultural engineering: qualification required is a B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering degree with 50 per cent marks in aggregate.

Ph.D. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering.

MBA in Agribusiness Management.

Integrated five-year M.Sc. programmes in Biotechnology and Climate Change Adaptation. Those who have passed Plus Two in the Science stream may apply.

B.Sc. (Honours) in Cooperation and Banking. Those who have passed Plus Two may apply.
