Lal free from romance

Clearing the rumours about Mamtha Mohandas playing Lal's love interests in the new Priyadharshan movie on production 'Geethanjali', close sources to the director maintains that Lal will not have any heroine in the entire movie.

He will play another role , just like his Dr Sunny in Manichithrathaazhu, where he was called into clearing a confusing psychological issue. Interestingly Lal's character will only appear by the point of interval as in 'Manichithrataazhu'. The chances of Shobhana appearing for a single scene cameo also has been ruled out.

Keerthi , the daughter of producer Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka will be in the female lead but will pair up with an young actor.
