MBBS/BDS Allotment under Comm/Minority Quota
Applications are invited for the allotment under community/minority quota for MBBS / BDS admission in private self-financing medical/dental colleges. Allotment process to private self-financing medical/dental colleges will begin by July last week. As the the orders of Government of Kerala, 30 per cent of the 50 per cent seats in private self-financing colleges to which allotment is conducted by the Controller of Entrance Examinations (CEE) has been reserved for the respective minority community or community represented by the college management.
The list of the medical colleges, which are eligible for community seats are given below:
MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram (Muslim); KMCT Medical College, Mukkom, Kozhikode (Muslim); Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur (Syro Malabar Catholic); Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Thrissur (Syro Malabar Catholic (RCSC) of Archdiocese, Thrissur excluding Suffragan Dioceses); Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Ernakulam (Malankara Orthodox Syrian); Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre, Thiruvalla (Syro Malankara Catholic); Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakonam, Thiruvananthapuram (SIUC-SKD: 13 seats, SC/ST Converted to SIUC-SKD: 1 seat, non Nadar
SIUC : 1 seat)

Century International Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Kasaragod (Muslim); MES Dental College, Perinthalmanna (Muslim); Royal Dental College, Palakkad (Muslim); Al-Azhar Dental College, Idukki (Muslim); Annoor Dental College, Ernakulam (Muslim); Azeezia College of Dental Sciences & Research, Kollam (Muslim); Educare Institute of Dental Science, Malappuram (Muslim); Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Ernakulam (Muslim); Malabar Dental College and Research Centre, Malappuram (Muslim); PSM College of Dental Science and Research, Thrissur (Muslim); Sri Sankara Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram (Ezhava); St. Gregorios Dental College, Ernakulam (Jacobite Syrian); Mar Baselios Dental College, Ernakulam (Jacobite Syrian) and Pushpagiri College of Dental Science, Thiruvalla (Syro Malankara Catholic).
Students who wish to apply for minority/community quota in these colleges need to download proforma from the website and submit it with required certificate from the authorities concerned.
Those students belonging to Muslim/Ezhava communities, who were included in 2013 MBBS/BDS category list need not submit the community certificates again. However, those who are not in the category list need to produce the community certifcate along with the proforma.
Those Muslim students from Kasargod who apply for Century International Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Kasaragod, need to submit community certificate along with proforma even if they are included in the category list. They should also mention the district in which they are eligible for reservation.
Those Ezhava students who apply for Sri Sankara Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, and are included in the category list , will be considered for the Ezhava quota.
The required certificates should reach, Controller of Entrance Examination, Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram 695 001 before 5 pm on July 27, 2013. The certificates, which fail to reach the office on time and those sent through fax and e-mail will not be considered.
