John Abraham has already replaced good friend Akshay Kumar in Welcome Back, a sequel to Welcome and now according to recent reports, Shruti Hassan has replaced Katrina Kaif in the 2007 hit comedy. Bollywood hottie John Abraham will be seen romancing Shruti Hassan in Welcome Back.

Tweeting about the fresh cast of the sequel to the hit movie comedy, famous film critic Taran Adarsh wrote that the film's shoot will start next month in Dubai. "Update: Shruti Hassan signed opposite John Abraham in Welcome Back. Co-starring Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal...," Taran posted on micro blogging site Twitter.

Guess, Who Will Romance John In Welcome Back? Earlier it was reported that the filmmakers of Welcome Back had approached newbie Shraddha Kapoor to play the lead female opposite John Abraham. Rumour has it that Shraddha rejected Welcome back as she does not want to work with older actors like John just at the starting of her career. It is said that John Abraham is very miffed with Shraddha Kapoor because of this.

It has also been reported that superstar Amitabh Bachchan might play the role of late Feroz Khan in the Welcome series. The movie Welcome Back is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and is directed by Anees Bazmee.
