Asin To Romance Kamal Hassan in Ramesh's Direction

Malayali girl Asin Thottumkal, who has earned a niche for herself in Tamil, Telugu film industries along with Bollywood, seems to be getting ready to make her debut in Kannada films. If everything goes fine, she will be acting in a bilingual movie starring Kamal Hassan, which will be directed by Ramesh Aravind. Reports say that Asin Thottumkal has been roped in to act opposite Kamal Hassan.

From last few years, she has been busy with Bollywood movies and earned a star status in Hindi films. During this time, she has not acted in a single movie in South movies. Now, the actress is returning to regional industry with the movie, which is titled as Uthama Villain in Tamil. She had earlier worked with Kamal in Blockbuster Dasavatharam. Asin in Kamal Hassan-Ramesh's Project The name of the Kannada version has not been revealed yet. The forthcoming movie will be reportedly shot in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. N Lingusamy is producing the movie. Crazy Mohan has penned the script and it has Yuvan Shankar Raja's music.

It is said to be an out and out comedy entertainer. Vivek has been roped in to play a key role. It may be recalled that Ramesh Aravind, who had acted with Kamal Hassan in a few movies like Panchathanthiram, Manmadhan Ambu and Sathi Leelavathi, had directed him in Kannada movie Rama Shama Bhama.
