The Telugu girl Swati Reddy who made waves with Subramaniapuram is back in circulation with Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, which has given her a new lease of life.

Swati has been quietly making waves in Malayalam with films like Amen and North 24 Katham. She is better off doing meaningful films than crass commercials.

The actress herself says she is more keen to do “challenging roles within the commercial format.” In Tamil she has the long in the making Amali Thumli and Vada Curry in the making.

Swati says : “ I’m all excited about Vada Curry where I’m paired with Jai. It is a good fun movie and I’m really enjoying the experience.”
