Meena Faints, Drishyam Shoot Halted

Drishyam is a much hyped upcoming movie by the director Jeethu Joseph. The director, who is currently basking in the success of his last flick Memories, has many expectations about his film. This is his first movie with Mohanlal. Mohanlal and Meena play the lead roles in this movie. Unfortunately, the actress fainted on the sets of the movie while the shoot was on and the movie has come to a halt.

According to sources, both Mohanlal and Meena were shooting for the film. But suddenly Meena felt giddiness and fainted on the sets. She was immediately taken to a near by hospital and was examined. Doctors have advised her to take rest.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is said to have joined the post production works of his yet another movie Geethanjali. He is busy with the dubbing of the movie which is slated to get released on November 14. Mohanlal plays the role of an uneducated farmer in the movie Drishyam. He is also the father of two daughters.

Meena essays the role of Mohanlal's wife in the movie. Jeethu Joseph was shooting the main sequences between Mohanlal and Meena in the film, when the actress fainted. The shooting of the movie will Resume soon after Meena recovers, says a source.
