How to know the genuity of a company

A company, whether Private Ltd or Ltd, has to be registered with Registrar of Companies under Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India. On registration, the company gets it's Certificate of Incorporation. Then only it become a legal entity. A company requires two or more Directors for it's formation.

To know the genuity of a company :

Step 1 : Go to mca's website, enter the Company name (without P Ltd/Ltd) and click on the search button.

Step 2 : Click on the Select button (get CIN (Corporate Identity Number)/LLPIN) and the Submit button. Then the company Master details will be displayed.

Step 3 : Click on the 'Signatories of the company' link to get the Name & Address of the Directors of the Company.
