If you think Gmail's one GB account isn't big enough for you, then head over here. They are giving away 100 GB accounts! Can you just believe them? Of course, the email service isn't as good as Gmail's one… but the size is 100 times bigger. And if you are somehow able to fill up the 100 GB, they'll give you a 1000 GB account. Damn!

Nobody is really going to give you 1 GB Mail Box.
GMail, thousands of users signup for 1 GB Gmail account. I too signed up. I always keep my mail account clean, that is delete all unwanted emails when ever i get time. So the usage is below 10 MB.
I am sure most users who care about there email id will do this. Only few subscribe to hundreds of newsgroup and newsletters filling up the mail space, any mail service providers know its better to ban such users. Every provider need users who is serious about the service and not some one who store junk in there server.
100 GB per user, that is just part of marketing.
I think it is Advertisment.. Nobody will not gives you so much space.

Yeah, I would never use this much space for e-mail. I delete them too often. I can't stand seeing them all!!
